I'm looking to buy a stripped lower (and an upper eventually) I'm looking for inexpensive but i don't want garbage. I was looking at Aero Precision but all the ones for the decent price are back ordered. Then i looked at Spikes, and they are back ordered 8-12 months. Any clue why? Also any suggestions where to get a good one for <$100?

Palmetto State Armory. They have their blemished stripped lowers for $69. Hurry they probably wont last.

PSA also had a Black Friday sale on stripped lowers for $49. Of course I missed out again!

But did score on a 39" HDTV at Best Buy.

I missed out on Aeros. They had complete lowers for less than a stripped dpms. $125. I was kicking myself.

So next question. Are there any companies to avoid? Or is a lower pretty generic?

Avoid the polymer ones for sure.

Don't know if it'll help ya, but Sherwood guns out of Bowling green, Ky had a bunch of Spikes stripped lowers for $108 at the last gunshow. I went with DPMS, don't like Spikes rollmark, hate their full auto markings, but to each their own I guess.
