Default Which EOTech sight should I buy?

Hi all.

I just ordered my first AR-15. I'm a lefty, so I order the Stag 2TL. I've read good things about Stag and I wanted a lefty model... so I didn't have much to choose from.

Anyways, I will be adding goodies as I go and might go for a EOTech sight first.

Which one should I buy? Btw, I'll probably never go night vision. And I'll probably add a 3x magnifier too.

Thanks!

The 511 (if you can find one) is good and does just about everything a higher-priced model does.

I have a 512 on mine, I like that it uses the cheaper AA batteries. The CR123's are pricey little suckers...

I had the 551.A65 and loved it. N type batteries, compact, awesome.

I love my XPS 2-0 personally. It doesn't take up a whole lot of rail space which is nice, I recommend that one.

One thing though, if you're going to be using a magnifier with it, look at getting one of the optics that has the controls on the side instead of the front.

Yeah. I read about that. Too bad they didn't make a lefty sight with the switch on the other side.

Thanks for the tips guys. Where is the best place to buy these?

Try a google search. Get a feel for the site and make sure youre comfortable w/ it. Call them. Or go to Primary Arms - For Optics Accessories & More | Weapons Optics | Firearm Supplies. Theyll have the EoTech you're looking for.

They do have the micro w/ the controls on the side if thats what youre looking for.

I have a Stag 2TL as well and am using an EOtech 512. I really like the combo myself. I've never had an issue with the gun at all. It has been a pleasure to shoot! Enjoy your new rifle!
