I am aiming at, no pun intended, the XPS2-0 model. I LOVE the smaller size and I don't mind the CR123 batteries. Have a Surfire light that uses them, cameras, etc. ... so I have them around. Gonna get a different stock for it. A MagPul, i think that has the storage for 4 extra 123 type batteries. Found it for 435.00, waiting to see if it is in stock, pretty good price.

I have never heard of an Aimpoint that turns itself off. EOTech on the other hand does.

I did a little searching to see if I'm wrong but cant find anything that say Aimpoints, especially Comp M3s, turn themselves off.

I have my H1 and Comp M2 on waiting to see what happens.

Your Comp M3 does have 5 years of constant on battery life. Very impressive.

Forgot to add that our M68s never turned off.

Oh, don't go to all that trouble, unless you're just bound and determined to prove me wrong, which it looks like you are.

I was probably thinking of my EoTech. Whatever. I would never just leave either one of them turned on all the time.

Its no trouble. Its not about proving you wrong. More like seeing if I have the wrong info or not.

I don't keep mine turned on all the time either. However I do believe I read somewhere that Aimpoint recommends doing so.
