The other day I played Santa and got myself one of these. Anyone have one or have any comments about them as far as reliability and accuracy?

Of course haven't had a chance to shoot yet :-( but I want to put a good long range scope on it first. Anyone have any good recommendations?

Also I am thinking of replacing the long butt stock with an adjustable one. Any recommendations, tips?

Btw, I'm anxious as a little kid to get out and break it in!! Might be colder than a dogs ass sitting in the snow but next weekend may be calling for a little range time...hopefully!!

I have a magpul ctr and a acs-L, love them both. Sturdy and light.

The guy at the gun shop told me when I got it that I could only use a fixed version... Is this true? I've been looking around and have noticed that that may not be the case with the changing of a few things. I'm a tad confused about it at the moment. Any knowledge about it?

I don't see why, most likey need new buffer tube etc.

You can buy a "kit" come with buffer tube castle nut, end plate, spring , buffer and stock. Just google Around. Milspec is the most sought after size. The other one is "commercial" it's pretty much a smaller diameter tube.

I'm from Nelson County. Yes I've been googling...from what I gather the commercial ones are thicker and just a little bit larger?

Looks like someone has a collection of mags! Hard to find items these days..sigh.
