High I'm looking for a 1piece FF hanguard for my DPMS Oracle 16in 5.56.

I'm trying to find one that has the exact same height as the rails on the upper reciever.
I have seen some that are close, but sit maybe a 1/8 to a 1/16 of an inch low. I don't really have to have it uninterrupted rail but that would be preferred.
I'm also wanting the rail system to replace the barrel nut. If anyone has any advice or perhaps pictures of their own Oracle please help me out.

Sounds like you're looking for a free float hand guard.

Yes I am. Trying to find a brand that sits flush with the upper reciever.

Any idea on the dimensions you're working with? Assuming it is standard a utg rail should work fine and won't be very expensive.

If I could find an upper receiver that was of better quality and would actually eat all ammunition I put through it I would. Money is tight though atm.

Mine is about an inch and 7/8ths and the guard is 2.5" top to bottom. It is pretty damn close to (if not) flush. It sounds like yours is awfully high. You may need risers to get what you want.
Hopefully someone else here has the same gun and can be of more help.

Midwest Industries and Troy Industries makes several drop in and free float rails specifically for the DPMS Oracle. They let you choose between high profile and low profile rails. Their sites also have information to measure and figure out exactly which profile you have. I think Oracles are Low-Profile. Good Luck!
