That is a crime, nothing replaces expierence! I am a supporter of technology ,however there will always be a need far a large force for temporary occupation (boots on the ground) and a large reactionary force basically ready to roll ASAP!! And LG sized specialized forces for countless reasons! To work in the intelligent field is one . Actionable Intel is key to any mission . SAD/SOG Proved this again n again! And the HALO is a crucial way to ....start! Again Billy Waugh invented the HALO drop in the late 60's . Staring in the 187th RCT In Korea he was still "retired active at 70 in Tora Nora! This man is a real James Bond! LOL. READ HUNTING CARLOS or Hunting the Jackel"? He wrote about tracking the jackel down! Billy did it! What a flag wavin SOB! LMAO! A TRUE HERO!! DE OPPRESSO LIBRE!

Again, good stuff, MACV_SOG! Amazing, just amazing... and a whole lot more interesting than the original thread topic!

Don't know what the topic was, but I did see a crapload of dpms panthers being bought over the weekend at the local gun show. Watched several people pass up S&W and even RRA to spend $100-200 less.

DPMS or Delton-sorta like comparing Krystal to White Castle: Both of them taste nasty going down and will give you the ****s.

Default anybody noticed ar's and parts starting to get "out of stock"?

I was going to use some "discretionary spending " money on a lower receiver. At least on "Cheaper Than Dirt"... they are starting to get scarce. Bolt Carrier Groups, stripped lower receivers and charging handles...

The local Sportsman's has nothing under $800 ...

Is the hysteria already starting????

Have you tried buying ammo locally lately.
My guy at Walmart called me when they got in some .223.

I arrived 30 naming later and 4 of the 8 100 round boxes they got in were gone..

At $34.95, all 8 were gone when I left.

The title could be "Hunting The Jackel or Hunting Carlos" . It's been a while and my cousin is glued to it! I should have told him to buy a copy . Brain Fart .
