I agree 100%. If all your plans are is shooting at the range.

To be honest, I don't think that i'll ever need to use an AR15 to defend my life...but then again, it's one of those things

Do I spend $700 and get a lower end that "is fun at the range"

Or do I spend $300 more and get one that is "fun at the range" *AND* can defend myself/herself.... that I/she don't have to spend all of my/her time explaining to people "Well, its fun at the rnage, dont wanna use it for WAR< but its fun at the range...."

I call it the Ugly Baby Gun =)

Now, all I have to do is convince my wife that looks aren't everything...she married me, she sure as hell should be used to that concept by now!!

The thing about guns is they don't know where they're being shot. If they run 100%, it really doesn't matter much where they are when they do it.
