Just in case you weren't burning through ammo fast enough with one barrel....

i can see how that ould be the nastiest anti-goblin gun ever devised. the thing that makes shotguns superior stoppers is that you have two or more pellets hitting at the exact same time.
its gotta be an unweildy clunky difficult to use and is almost assured to be a gun we are going to see for the next four decades in helliwood movies *sigh*

I thought there already was a double AR-15. Isn't it called a .308?

I'm sorry, but does anyone else think this is a solution looking for a problem? :roll eyes:
Why? If you can't hit a target with one barrel and practice, are you suddenly going to be able to hit it with two, un-aimed, barrels??
If you gave it to me, the first thing I would do is find someone to sell it too and buy myself another quality AR. Like a Bad News .338.

This all is what I'm saying it can't be practicle or very acurate it would be fun for like one day out and then you would run out of ammo and money and wonder why you needed two barrels to do that with

I think it is more a marketing thing to get their company name out there. "Hey we can build something no one else has," and given the fact we are talking about it here, I'd say the plan is working. I seriously doubt they expect to sell very many.
I think someone here (maybe in the article) mentioned that it will likely be considered a machine gun in the eyes of federal law, one trigger pull = 2 bullets.
As a gunsmith I want to tear one apart and see how the internals are designed. An obsession I've had since childhood: take it apart and figure out how it works. At least I've gotten better at putting things back together in working order!

Why didn't Red Jacket think of this first!
