Default does Daniel Defense make a stripped lower?

Does Daniel make a stripped lower and if not will the DD lower parts kit work on any stripped lower? If so does anyone have any suggestions on a good solid lightweight lower?

Lots of good stripped lowers on the market. Palmetto State Armory frequently puts them on sale, just watch their website. Black Friday Special of $49.95 is a great price.

A DD parts kit should fit well in any mil spec stripped lower.

But I mean would it be as rugged, reliable, dependable, etc. as a DD complete set up if I put a DD upper on a mil-spec lower with a DD lower parts kit?

The DD lowers are nice but you'd be well served w/ one from Palmetto or Spikes. You can also get a complete blem BCM lower minus stock for around $270.

I have a DD upper on a S&W lower with a DD LPK and BCM receiver extension, buffer/spring and MOE furniture. All works well, as well as a complete DD rifle but if you could find a DD lower nothing wrong with that.

How much did all that end up costing roughly if you don't mind me asking.
