Nope. I think you ran right up to the edge of the boat, and cooly adjusted your captain's hat, cracked your neck and sauntered back to the bikini's.

Looks great. But where are the mags and ammo?

How can that be overboard?
What part? The whole thing?

I like the 420 lumen part. Never can be overboard on light.

Tell me more about the light.

It's a sunwayman t20c
Low, medium, and holy sh!t settings and strobe. Also doubles as a defensive striking weapon.

Got plenty of mags don't worry. A bit short on ammo at the moment. All I have is green tip. I plan to remedy that next week.

Hell no!!! Looks sweet and looks like necessities to me :)

I'm not a fan of visible lasers on rifles but that is a personal thing. I keep lights simple with only on and off settings along with ability to get a momentary on. Other than those minor opinion nits. It seems like a good utility piece.

You could have trouble with the stock saddle and your charging handle, and I try to keep optics on the receiver. I like to just keep the nice solid mounted standard front sight, but if you go with a gas block mounted sight, remember that Magpul does not recommend them for gas block mounting because heat will melt them, and they are the wrong height. I like the YHM gas lock with folding front sight if you are going to stay with carbine length rails. If you go with a lo-pro gas block you could put a longer free float railed handguard on there and gain more real estate and get your support had out a bit further to drive the gun. Just food for thought.

Yeah the laser is more for fun than anything. Shooting tannerite at 50 yards from the hip is a blast. I'm not a big fan of gun mounted lights either. 90% of the setup is for display purpose to show people what I can build them. I like the idea of the longer rail I may go that route.
The saddle is well clear of the charging handle and was just spare parts I had kicking around. I'll probably take it off once I have another display gun. Kinda nice to have the extra storage though.
Thanks for the heads up on the front mbus. Heat issues didn't even cross my mind.
