It is how it is. Be patience and look around. Even 223/556 ammo goes up to 65-80c per round.

Yeah, but 35$? For 50rds of .357? That's just crazy and I'd rather not shoot than pay that kinda money

Just got an email saying Natchez has 5.56 and .308 in stock.

http://www.natchezss.com/product.cfm?contentID=productDetail&prodID=FAXM193 IC&src=tpSlrHm

Website is down though. Lmao. This is almost comical.

I sold 4 boxes of Winchester 9mm NATO 124gr for $25 a box the other day, and the buyer would have bought as many as I would sell. Times are extremely tight and it is NOT getting any better as some seem to think. Now .22LR is gone most everywhere along with everything else. I'd estimate another 60-90 days of stupid prices before we see it peak and even think about stabilization. The only handgun calibers on the shelf around here (and these are extremely low) are .45acp .45lc .357sig. Maybe a little .38 +p scattered around. If you want to shoot in the coming days, then expect it to cost you some extra coin.
