I wonder what's different than a standard mil-spec 5.56 one.
Is that their way of saying it's a weaker unit?
158 for the bolt?
8620 for the carrier?
Etc..

Just wondering, is there a difference between a M-16 auto BCG and one in a US issued full auto M4?

Technically, no. However, the quality of replacement parts depends entirely on what company has the contract at a given time. After the patents expired, a lot of companies popped up manufacturing replacement parts, and at a given time the range of replacement parts for the M16/M4 family of rifles ranged from Sears to General Motors to Singer to Mattel. I was an armorer in the early 2000's and I must have seen 50-100 different manufacturers brands on M16's and M4's, to include the brands mentioned above. The measurements on the M16 BCG and on the M4 BCG are identical, as they have identical functions, so they are interchangeable. The contract holders at the last time I checked for the M16 was FN; for the M4 it was Colt. That may have changed as it has been awhile since I researched it.
