Yes.

Anything you're after can be had at a price. For the most post, that implies a 10-25% increase over pre-frenzy prices. I don't think that's terrible considering a couple months ago some of the less informed were paying $2K+ for $750 rifles and buying $16 mags at a rate of 3/$200 ($60+ per). Plenty of people are still paying stupid crazy prices, which reflects poorly on both the consumer and the retailer.

In a few months it may well be a buyer's market. And perhaps not. But for now, there's a lot to be said for understanding the quality/value you receive at any given price. If someone new to the AR scene is entering this situation 'blind', I'd highly recommend scoping out the options with BCM and PSA. There are a number of others that are plenty good as well. But those are the two I can count on above all others; to offer quality milspec products at fair prices. If you see a kit offered by either that has whatever you're absolutely after, I'd really advise you jump on it if you intend to get your rifle together now.

Both PSA and BCM offer extreme quality:cost benefits to the consumer, IMO.

+1 on everything you just said. Hopefully it will be a buyers market, I've been patiently waiting for it to roll around

If you have a local Academy Sports and Outdoors check there. We have been getting them in at $30 each. Not too bad..

Not a deal per se, but Core 15 has BCGs in stock. Great customer service and shipping was super fast the few times I've ordered from them.

Bought three from shopruger.com earlier this year. Took over 6 weeks and the price was around $30 a mag. Saw a handful at Scheels last week on the shelf. $29.95.

I know they're available locally in abundance to me for right around $30. So they may be coming to a store near you shortly.

I have a new/sealed BX25 (x2) that I'd probably let go for a fair price. But that's the reversible and somewhat rare 50rd mag that's been commanding a premium for a while now. The price would be fair, but in the vicinity of $80 delivered. A lot of folks have paid 50% more for them on GunBroker of late.
