Any input how it compares to Spike's Battle Trigger?

You'd probably be best looking at the ALG ACT trigger as it is nickel boron coated like the Spikes model.

I've had both the ACT and the QMS. Both are very nice.

The QMS is a very good milspec trigger, no grit. Most milspec triggers you get in your kits are a crapshoot, you may luck out and get a nice one, you may get a crappy gritty one. In my personal experience, I'm batting about a .333 (approx 3/10) average. most of mine have been gritty and crappy. One of my friends is batting 1.0 (5/5)all his are remarkably nice.

The ACT is a slightly lighter, smoother......buttery pull. Very nice, but I don't know if its really worth the price premium for a duty single stage trigger.

I haven't had a Spikes, so no comment there.....

hope this helps you.

Most of all my personal ARs have the ALG ACT combined with the JP springs kit. They are great! But i do have the Spike's battle trigger on one of my SBR, combined it with the JP springs kit, and i barely found any difference. Both are great!!

Can anyone point me in the right direction to find some stripped lowers that are in stock right now? Anyone seen any good deals on them lately?

PSA had their stripped lowers yesterday and today. But they were all sold out in minutes. Very good price for $120 each.
