I knew it! I should have said don't use it on the front pivot pin!

It's a lot easier to replace the rear one

Sorry I thought it was obvious. Give it a little thought, which pin/spring is easier to replace?

Anyway, does the pivot pin stay in? Solid? If so, you should be ok as Doc said.

Seems pretty solid, I guess I'll really know when I get an upper to try it out on. My best guess is that will be around February :-\

as long as you have resistance holding the take down pin in place you should be good to go.
