Well I'm in the market for a new ar and I'm torn between the Daniel defense m4v2/v4 or the sig 516. I know one is di and ones piston but I can't make my mind up! The piston had me on the sig and the vandium barrel interests me on the dd. Any suggestions or advice from someone? This will probably be my shtf gun.

I'd go Daniel Defense, I've had a complete LW V3 upper two years and for that plus other reasons think you'll end up with a better rifle than the Sig.

Sig makes a fine product. The dd is a shtf/ end of the world gun. The sig is a range/hunting rifle

Cant beat DD, i just looked at the sigs last week and i personally think the overall quality is better with daniel defense vs. sig
