why have 1 when you can have 2 ... or 3 or 4 or 5 ... see where this is going?

with the AR15 or AR10 platforms you can have a dizzying array of caliber options available. Since you mentioned you already have 1 AR15 why not just look for a completed upper in the caliber that will suit your needs/desires? Or go the custom route and have one built? or build it yourself?

in any case I am sure their is a version already available in a caliber that will suit your needs

have your considered a .300 aac blackout?

9" barrel is good for hunting up to 200 yards with the right ammo for medium sized game.

only difference is the barrel. uses 5.56 bolt, and magazines. simple build, just really hard to find a barrel right now due to popularity.

Personally, I'd rather have a 14" or 16" and 18 or 20 inch, before getting another caliber tho.....

It also gets con fusing if you are trying to make a new cartidge and you mix english and metric measurements. notice 5.56x45mm is all metric, while .223 is english caliber measurement. So it could seem like you were shooting needles out of your new round. .25x47mm would indicate that the bore diameter was .25mm, which is really small.

You could check into existing rounds made for the AR like 6.8 SPC which uses .270 cal bulets or 6.5 Grendel which uses .264 cal bullets. .300 Blackout which is a SAAMI standardized caliber that is similar to the .300 whisper.

So, lots of other folks have wildcatted for the AR.

I mean no disrespect, but is English your first language? Try reading the first sentence out loud.
