I purchased 2 DPMS oracles for $679 each on Christmas Eve. I sold one on gunbroker this week and the sale price was $1200! I was shocked as I picked up a Daniel defense m4v1 for $1200 just one month earlier. I don't know about you guys but I would never buy a dpms oracle for even $800. Should I sell the other one too or hold on and see what happens? I think I have enough black guns already. Currently own Colt LE6940, Colt LE901-16s, rra entry tactical and Daniel defense m4v1.

It's definitely a sellers market. You could make good money on it now, but if some sort of ban is enacted, you could make a lot more later. Or the bubble could bust and the bottom fall out and it would be worth what you paid for it. Any which way I see it, you win.

Or even worse they end up wanting to confiscate the guns like illinois is nuts trying to do ! I am seriously thinking of cashing in on the madness and selling all my high cap and black guns. I can protect myself very well with my m500 12 guage and a nice 44 magnum revolver I am sure I can get $1850 for each of my ar at moment and i know I can get $50 plus for mags "have about 50 on hand at moment" and $1 round for ammo over 4000 rounds. and then in a few years buy it all over again sucks waiting but money is nice also . and HUGE PROFITS are super awesome .

But 1 thing for sure I am gonna keep because it may be hard as heck to find in future is a 7.5" ar pistol upper the lower heck just give me $1000 and the lower is theirs "hey it's polymer like the proven famous glock LMAO"

I don't forsee confiscation working. To many out there, and many many people would simply "have previously sold" their stocks. That and the fact that the South would likely "Rise Again" if such an effort was undertaken. People in the South don't care much for bein told what to do, and dam sure not when it's about their guns. Collectors would likely receive used ammo first.

yes sir thats why I moved back to florida I don't want any part of the illinois comunist ways anymore ! it got very old. and I know for a fact I wouldn't just hand over my guns if I didn't commit a crime. now if I screwed up and broke the law thats a different story but I don't live that kind of life. I live a clean quiet boring life. my excitement is shooting armadillos in my yard " you can shoot guns in your yard in my county but bullet can't leave the property" no problem I leave the lead in the dillos lol

I got two Mega Arms stripped lowers for $109 each just before Christmas...a day or two after Newtown. Maybe I should put them up for $1200 each and use the dough to buy a precision bolt action. My LGS was pretty stocked with AR's then.....all gone and they are not even taking orders.

I wont buy anything except ammo. Too many people out there trying to price gouge us when we need to have there support. Its a shame it has to come to that.

I went to a gun show in Pasadena yesterday. Pmags were $40-$60. Stripped lowers were $450-$600. People walking around with DPMS and Bushmasters with $1800-$2000 price tags on them. And it was more packed than any other gun show that I have ever been to.

River Bend Arms, a great guy btw had some he was kind enough to sell to me, and ship down my way.

I went out and about when I got home and found some decently priced, if not normal. Brass cases 5.56 for $9.99 a box. Had about 40 boxes in stock.
I agree he's great Thanks.
