Default Confused With $2k-$3k

I've got about 2 to 3 thousand and want a top tier ar15 in 5.56. I've been researching LMT, LWRC, KAC, Daniel Defense and Noveske. Which is the best built for hard use? Any thoughts would be much appreciated, I own two stripped M&P lowers, but have little knowledge on the subject.

Well those are great names and many will come in much closer to $1K. You left BCM and Colt off your list. I'd go BCM or DD. KAC would push more into your original range and is a fine choice but it's no more top tier than BCM.

I have a DD 16" midlength upper on an M&P-15 lower.

Listen to Quentin, you can get a top tier AR for a lot less than your budget.

You haven't heard of the Larue OBR and Colt sp901?

You don't need to be confused. Just spend a little time and read the stickies.

And don't forget to look up Larue and BCM.

Or buy two 1k rifles (everybody needs a spare) and 1k on ammo.

You can get one heck of an AR from PSA right now for 1k.

All of those are good guns, but what do you mean by hard use? Will this be a match gun or duty use, or just something you want to put a lot of rounds through?
