Just a FYI, I emailed bushmaster last night. They emailed me back this morning and said that they do in fact use some mil spec buffer tubes now.

Probably not on your C15 I bet. Playing the odds it looks like the MOE is milspec and your RE is commercial diameter. Your original stock is commercial so measure its internal diameter vs. the MOE. Or just get the right size MOE, you could take your old stock and MOE to a LGS and have them get you the right MOE.

I hear you man, I think that you right. I have been sanding down the stock and almost have it ready to fit.
