Actually, from what I have seen, DD is about 500 bucks more in this area.

In this area, the Colts run about 1250, the DD will go 1800 to 2100 (if you can get either one). Currently with the panic buying, it is hard to even get a Vulcan around here

I got my 6920 after the hysteria started for $1150. I just waited and kept scoping out Walmart and non-gouging dealers for one to show up. I think they will become more and more available soon. I would take it easy, relax, and wait for the Colt. It's worth it IMO. If you do want another brand (BCM, DD, LMT) they'll come down in price soon too. The only thing that makes the high prices worst is paying them. Same for ammo. I'm hoping a lot of the gougers are gonna be eating that ammo soon. I started reloading just to do my part to make it happen.
