DefaultColt A-R 15 FA convert

Just out of curiosity, a friend of mine told me that if you take a spring out of a Colt A-R it will fire fully automatic. Is this true? if so what spring?

Uh, no. Your friend has no basic concept of firearms and you should probably hit yourself in the head with a sledgehammer the next time you take any of his advice....

And the trolling continues......

Congratulations FirearmsTalk members, it would appear we have finally reached the infamous "radar"

Do you think we are about to be attacked by a swarm of mall ninja's?
It's possible that these last "turn my XXXXX into a machine gun"
posts are scouts for the main swarm/flock/horde/gaggle?

What is the correct term for a whole friggin' bunch of mall ninja's????

The term is a "Cluster" of ninjas. NO, leaving out a spring does NOT make an AR full auto. As a matter of fact, the ATF prohibits the sale of firearms that are "readily convertible" to full auto fire. And you need to find some smarter friends. On the other hand, hanging with folks that dim WILL make you appear smarter.
