Ladies and gents,
I've seen several sites that advertise National Magazines Colt AR-15 (30 Round) blue mags. The price is anywhere from $10-$14. Do you guys know anything about these (the followers, etc.)? Most Colt AR 30 rd. mags I've seen go for around $20. Just curious. Thanks!

Blued steel magazines. Heavier than the GI aluminum ones. If they are not made to the same dimensions as a GI mag, it will be difficult to install an "enhanced" follower.
The Pro-mag steel mags will not work with the GI followers.

Thanks for the info. Do you know if the come with the standard green followers? Non of the ads I've seen state the type of follower. Are the standard green followers ok? The ones I've looked at tilt quite a bit, but I've never tried one out.
Some people will dis the green followers. They are enhanced followers. They are just the first generation of enhanced followers. There are others that may well be "better", but I have green followers in ALL my 30 rounders and have NEVER had a mag related malunction. I also have enhanced springs from sawlesales.com. Even the old funky looking mags work properly w/$5 worth of upgrades.
