Just bought a cmc trigger for my bushy, install went very very easy. Going to test it out today. Only problem is I wanted the 3.5 lbs tactical trigger but got the 4.5 lb patrol/duty trigger. Told myself it's only one pound difference. Any thoughts?

Thank you. I'm sure it will be, seems like a good company. I called friday and the guy said if I didn't like it, send it back and he would restring it to 3.5 lbs.
its cheaper to buy a really really good trigger than diy it and have someone report you to the BATFE when it goes full auto. the batfe doesnt care if you were "trying to improve the trigger" to them its constructive intent of an illegal full auto. even if you manage to get out of it the lawyers and legal fees are FAR FAR more pricy than the most expensive jewell or timney trigger.
save your self some headaches and just get a good trigger rather than doing it yourself on this part.

For the average shooter I don't think it's going to be a real big deal to be honest.
If you were a heavy competitor in 3 gun, or doing timed shooting, then maybe you want a light-weight trigger. But on an AR that you might be carrying from location to location, there isn't really a plus side to have an airweight trigger.
I am not familiar with this companies' product though, could you post a couple of pictures for the pure gun pr0n addict in all of us?
Trigger worked better than expected. Smooth, crisp, short reset, ALOT better than stock bushmaster. I'll post some pics later, because I think we all have that addiction!
Most people will not be able to tell the difference between 3lb and 4lb.
A gritty 3lb will feel heavier than a smooth 4lb to the average person.

I agree danf_fl. I really liked the feel of the 4.5lb. Big difference in the smoothness! Now to find a good compensator that will throw some hellatious fireballs. We all know how loud bushys are anyway might as well embrace it
