I find this thread slightly ironic/amusing. I just started a chapter for my business class that's about business ethics and CTD is what I'll be using as my example in the discussion

There is some value in both the emotion displayed and the personal boycotts. I'm sure most arms businesses will get wind of these feelings and think twice about gouging during the next scare.
You don't necessarily have to personally boycott the gougers as much as pledge your future dealings to those businesses that held the line on their pricing during the shortages.

ordered PMC 9mm from them a year ago for $8 for 50. Good price, saved me 40 miles of driving to and from LGS. Same ammo advertised to me several months ago...$69 for box of 50. I'll make the drive before I buy from them again.

They are capitalists, most of their gear is cheap Chinese knock off, or surplus. Buy in bulk cheap...sell high. Don't like it? Don't buy from them...no need to get political or emotional. No different than Wally Mart guys.

The customer is not always right, but without them the business is nothing..... Maybe CTD needs to think on this..

Lol, folks posting with fictional names throwing mud at people standing up for 2nd amendments rights. Silly boys.

Three months ago, in the heat of no ammo anywhere, they were one of the few places selling 10mm and they had the best price by a long margin.

If you don't want to dance with a girl, great, dance with someone else, but don't go disparaging the girl to others, for dumb reasons.

If you want to shop somewhere else, by all means, knock yourself out.

it's not about politics, but ethics. when a business won't stand behind their customers who are what keeps them in business, then i personally won't do business with them. let them go bankrupt.

my LGS weathered the storm we had several months ago, when gun prices went through the roof as did ammo, and without gouging the customer. they stood with their customers and for that i respect them and will keep doing business with them. it's close to an 80 mile round trip to my LGS, bu well worth it.

Midway USA gets my business. I wouldn't buy from CTD if they had the last AR on earth. They have shown they care more about money than their customers, so now they can loose both.
