Carry handle rear sight.

I just installed a AR-15 A3 Detachable Carry Handle TuffZone on my Del-Ton Sport. Even with the thumb screws as tight as I can get them the sight still moves along the rail for a few thousands of an inch. Is this normal or have I got a bad unit re: fit on the Picatinny rail?

Not normal. Milspec is milspec, it should fit tight. Is this a cheap $30 knockoff?

Yes, a cheap $30 unit. Problem fixed with some 5 mil shim stock. Now tight as a $150 rip off.

Well if it gives you trouble you can find true milspec carry handles for $35-50 on eBay and EE forums. Not knockoffs or ripoffs. No one in the know pays $150 for a carry handle.
