[Hudson]

First post on this forum, so i guess that makes me a newbie.

Anyways, i've been in the market recently for an AR15. Can anyone inform me on what's currently out there, and what the best bang for my buck would be? I know, i should use the search feature, but this feels more personal. My cousin use to have a bush master, and i really liked that thing. He sold the thing, and i never got a chance to buy it, never even knew what model it was. My price range is ~1000$.

I also have a brand new still in the box ICON .30-06, that i won at the safari club. Do you think this would be an even trade for an AR-15? Would pictures of said .30-06 do justice?
