all the favs are good for the buck, just get what ya want for the money you willing to pay, for me it was bushmaster, jusy make sure it shoots 5.56 as well as 223 ammo

I just picked up a Bushmaster as well a few weeks ago. I got the ORC model (no iron sights) and it was "optic ready", meaning you need to add some sort of optics to it right away.

Shelf price at Cabela's was $880. Shoots 5.56 and .223, so that works fine.

It's a blast so far. :)

I have a Bushmaster and a Bushmaster/Spike's Tactical, and they both work great. A friend of mine has a Stag, and it also seems to be good quality.

On the other hand, I've had some trouble with an Olympic Arms AR I shot....Not saying they're a bad brand, but the one I shot had some issues...

As for the price, I believe the Bushy was around $1000 new five years ago, and I pieced together my second gun for ~ $750.

Good luck.
