Default Bushmaster MOE

Does anyone know if a Bushmaster MOE 16" in .223/5.56 is only single shot or also burst? I am looking into this as my next purchase but cannot find this info.
Thanks!

yeah, you can. for a $200 fee to the BATF for a tax stamp and about $15,000 for the rifle.

anything that fires more than one round per trigger pull is considered fully auto by the BATF and requires a $200 tax stamp to legally own, that is if it's legal to possess in the state you live in.

That's why they have this forum .. Better to ask this question here than at the gun store.. Education is key.. I lean a lot here just reading up..

How much experience to you have with firearms?

Enough experience to know that the bushmaster moe can't be a burst fire or full auto weapon legally. If you want a auto it must be made prior to 1986 thanks to the nfa

Actually, it is thanks to the Hughes amendment to the FOPA (Firearms Owners and Protection Act). The Dems slipped one over on the Gipper when he was asleep at the wheel.
