Bushmaster Carbine AR..JUnk or Not?
i bought a bushmaster carbine shot one 30rnd clip and top rail came loose as i was trying to zero in red dot. i went to tighten it and just kept turning, took it apart and its just threaded into carbine. Took it back because its under warranty.. My question is, is this just going to happen again and are the carbines junk or did i just get a gun that was built on a friday

Bushmaster Carbine AR..JUnk or Not? = NOT

Do you mean carbine or carbon?
I would say that if your it is coming apart as your're shooting it isn't of any sort of quality. Bushmaster is know for sub par quality so I guess it's right in line w/ what should be expected. |
I've got one and had good luck with it. I'm sure there are better but I would assume there are worse.

Was it one of the very latest that is rollmarked Ilion, NY instead of Windham, MA? I've heard lots of bad about these newest BMs.
I'm also curious if it's a Carbon 15 not carbine. |

How's the Casino working out down there? I'm trying to get the wife interested so I don't have to go alone. |
i have the carbon 15. I have put around 1000 rds through it. The upper has a rail on top that is already loose. ive heard they jam alot too. i just ordered a stag upper half to replace it. Ive heard the lower isnt really an issue

Thanks mj, probably just bad wording on my part. I can't go gamble since my son works out there. But....with my luck I might as well just give the guy at the front door my money and not waste my time. No I really like my Bushy, it's been a good rifle for me.

I'm glad to hear you're BM has served you well. We should hit the range some day. Wichita messed up not building it here. |
Its a carbon but .manual say my model is a carbine 15 so I figured that's what it was..I took it in so well see what they say if it happens again I'm getting my money back..I've no issue with it other than the rail coming loose and the screw stripped.. Thanks for your opinions and suggestions!
