Default bushmaster carbine 15, trigger guard

Is there anyway to change this trigger guard? Its not full steel and I don't see a screw where I can change the trigger guard.

You should have two roll pins, one in the front and one in the back. Knock those out .

It looks like an integral trigger guard.

Do you mean Carbon 15, if so then no you can't change it.

Just out of curiosity, is that an aluminum upper on your pic? The reason I ask is there is no forward assist on the Carbon 15's.

Probably a good idea, since the aluminum rails were reported to come loose after a significant amount of firing.

My buddy's C15 from 2008 didn't have the FA or dust cover. Guess BM figured out how to add the FA. Is it now part of the receiver molding or pinned on?
