I would suggest that you contact Hilltop Guns Inc. located at Colona IL. They are at the Indy Show and were selling Rock River Rifles manufactured by Rock River (Original Manufactured, Not Parts Guns) at 10% over MSRP. I spoke with Terry Douglas Saturday while he was at the show who owns Hilltop. And he advised they sold around 65 Rock River AR-15s on Friday afternoon when the show opened. And had 10 left at the table for Saturday and today's (Sunday) show!

WOW! 10% over MSRP today is unheard of.

I know it's really high, and I would possibly pay the price if I could afford it but I don't have the money.

A sign maker might be your best bet. They could make you a nice latex flag sticker.

I managed to allocate all of the parts for a complete quality AR build for about $1300 in the last week. Basically similar to a Colt 6920, with a few upgrades. And that's including the costs of a $150 Red Dot and a hysteria priced $300 stripped lower.

So unless you want some outside of the box custom sniper/varmint setup....

Barreled upper: PSA, BCM. Check regularly. Quality options have been available multiple times in the last week for $400-600.
LPK/LBK: PSA has had PSA/MOE lower build kits for about $170-180 multiple times in the last week or so. And that includes a complete stock kit. Stocks are easy enough to find if you buy that seperately.
BCG/CH: The CH is easy, the BCG is hard. They're out there though. Add your name to BCM's email list and you might get an exceptional one for south of $200.
Extras: Sights, slings, optics, and extras are pretty easy finds.
Mags: Not easy. "Backorder" is a good option here.

I probably just won't do that, don't want to get it wrecked cuz I hold rifles with my hand on the magwell, I may put a magwell grip on, I may get the molon Labe dust cover and have an American flag engraved on the side that shows when the dust cover is closed.

I live in MA so I can't order any new mags over 10 rounds and none in the state, so it's not like how I can always just not pin a flash hider or a stock, the mag thing is an actual issue. By the way since there is a possibility of a ban I don't plan on doing any of the MA compliant crap, and I'm not letting obama and feinstein make me register anything. I just want to know who else will resist any form of a ban, registration, or confiscation?
