Default Building a Adams Arms Piston system, question on Barrel?

I just found a deal on a Mossberg OEm .223/5.56 AR Barrel Melonite inside and out, M4 profile 1:7 twist, 1/2x28 muzzle thread, carbine gas hole and .750 gas shoulder for $139.95..... (I have BCM UPPER) Good deal or what would you guys recommend, trying to stay on the lower price spectrum but not quality?

Why a piston AR? I'd go DI in 16".

My tastes run to midlength gas systems in a 16" barrel.

The only thing to look for thats a gotcha in the ar15 is if your reciever has m4 cuts but the barrel extension doesnt.

If the extension has cuts you can use either an m4 cut upper or a standard a2 upper. If your upper has the m4 cuts your barrel has to have them also.

This. Mid-length gas systems are the way to go IMHO. Perfect all around. And I like Mossberg, but I wouldn't go to them for any AR-15 parts.
