MBL = MEGA Badazz Lower - I like that!
Gonna need to use the 5.56 fcp's because no one makes a Mega Badazz Lower fcp kit in .458 SOCOM. (But don't tell anyone.) __________________ .

Thanks slow, I've got a 'new' RRA upper inbound for a little better deal than that. (Got it from a good friend.)
I will keep them in mind for additional parts.
I'll call them but what I'm looking for is a lower parts kit with RRA 2 stage trigger and no hand grip. I hate those stock grips. Guess I could just pitch it but my spare parts drawer is filling up with those type of parts.
Also I've heard there is a SOCOM stock for recoil. Have you found them?
This is the one I heard about :

Anyone seen them for better than $170? __________________ .

Forgive my ignorance and I am not trying to bogart your thread. I am going pig hunting for the first time in March on a Military base who requested my Brother in law and I to do some deprivation.
I was going to use my 30-06 and carry my 1911 (when it gets here), but everyone I know that pig hunts has told me to ditch the bolt action and carry either a lever action or an autoloader.
So I was considering a slug gun, a 458 socom or the 50 beowolf. Slug gun won't use because I can only have 3 rounds loaded. The 50 I can't use because I can't get lead free ammo to use in CA. So that leaves me with the 458.
Is there another caliber in a AR platform that would work for the little piggies or is the 458 pretty much it? __________________

I heard it from a little birdie that it shipped out on Saturday and should arrive Tuesday or Wednesday via the USPS. The bird recommends that someone be home to sign for it. |

You might give Pete a call at AR15sales.com, to see if he can set you up a lower parts kit W/O a grip. I'm not sure if he would be willing to come down on price. Heck those grips are throw-aways to begin with, about $5 each.

Thanks slow, stock on order.
I will give Pete a call but I did find that RRA has a 2 stage trigger LPK with a Hogue or ERGO grip.
Item#: AR0120NME (Lower Receiver Parts Kit, Two Stage Trigger, ERGO Grip Ambi Black) $200
Lets see, trigger $100 + grip <$30 = $130 so the pins & springs cost $70?????

I'll be here!
Tell the little birdie thanks and there's an inbound volley that should land there tomorrow! __________________ .
