| Max 250 yds. That's about the effective energy range. I'll be setting the scope up for 100 yds. __________________ . Junior Member Join Date: Apr 2010 Posts: 3 | Yo! Patriots! Hello! I came to this forum from a yahoo search on 458SOCOM. I signed up for two reasons... well 3 now that I've read 12 pages. 1 Pretty sure I'm convinced that the 458 is the cartridge of choice for wolves. 2 Need to know if there's any chance the Ruger mini30 could be rebarreled/upgraded with gaspiston etc to use 458? 3 Real nice looking rig canebrake and the name I offer, tho' maybe days late is PIG IRON Noticed the REAL Date, 3rd Mo instead of 4th. Geez, after 12 pages go figure. demerits already, sorry. Last edited by TexasVet; 04-26-2010 at 06:51 AM.Reason: apology |
