What range of shooting distances did you design this for?

Max 250 yds. That's about the effective energy range. I'll be setting the scope up for 100 yds. __________________ .

Here's my offer, you buy the ammo you want to shoot and the gun will be available for you to thump away.
Ammo 458 SOCOM Ammunition
It should be about a 10 hour drive for you to Ft Lauderdale. (I have plenty of room for you and yours to spend some time. We can do a safe dump and get you some trigger time on Fenrir, Canebrake, Elsie Ahrrrr, P35, P08, 29-2, M1911A1, .30 Ruger BH.........................)
This is an open invitation, just ask gorknoids. If we have 1/2 the fun you will be booking your second visit before you leave! __________________ .

Cane,You did a fine job on that little hog popper. I can't wait to see how it performs. What grain of punishment are you going to try out of it? I've heard that they really like the 300-400 grainers, and are pretty accurate with them. THB |

Yo! Patriots! Hello!
I came to this forum from a yahoo search on 458SOCOM. I signed up for two reasons... well 3 now that I've read 12 pages.
1 Pretty sure I'm convinced that the 458 is the cartridge of choice for wolves.
2 Need to know if there's any chance the Ruger mini30 could be rebarreled/upgraded with gaspiston etc to use 458?
3 Real nice looking rig canebrake and the name I offer, tho' maybe days late is PIG IRON
Noticed the REAL Date, 3rd Mo instead of 4th. Geez, after 12 pages go figure. demerits already, sorry. Last edited by TexasVet; 04-26-2010 at 07:51 AM.Reason: apology |
