Default build ???

building my first ar, bit by bit. starting with lower. looking at collapsable stocks and buffer assy. mil-spec or comercial? whats the diff and will either fit on my spikes lower?

Both will fit your Spikes lower. Get the milspec diameter, life will be easier if you start swapping stocks down the road.

Mil-spec is the stronger of the 2. Either will fit.

Mil spec is the way to go. Stronger tube, easier to find, dunno why they even bother with commercial tubes anymore.........
