If you really want it to run quiet, then run the JP Enterprises silent captured spring. I have this in one of my builds and really like it.

+1 on the spring I run one and u can't really even hear it. have to listen real closely to catch any "boing"

I did the same as you and got the same results.

With a little practice and experience, you will know when your mag is empty if you don't hear/feel the twang when shooting long fast strings of fire.

There's alway the till an look method.. When ur coming close to a empty mag till ur gun just enough for u too see ur bolt. It's much better than following up on a target an hearing click..

If your gun is running properly and bolt locks back on last round then you should never here a click. But I agree... Tilt and see if bolt is home over a live round or locked back over an empty mag.
