Default Brownells AR15 Barrels

Anybody have any experience with Brownells' AR15 barrels?

http://www.brownells.com/rifle-parts/barrel-parts/rifle-barrels/ar15-m16-308ar-barrels-prod56797.aspx

I am thinking about using either the 14.5" or 16" 5.56 on my current build. Really don't want to spend the $380 that I did on my Rainier Arms Ultra Match barrel, but don't want a worthless one either!

Opinions please!

You got to source who makes them, possibly FN, DD, or some one like that. Generally the house brands are alway made by a major manufacturer. Just like BCM source Daniel Defense for theirBCG's and barrels.

Thinking about the Brownells' 14.5" carbine gas system or Spikes Tactical 14.5" mid length gas system. The Spikes is lighter, chrome lined, hammer forged and about $30 more. The Brownells' has a bit heavier profile and is nitride coated. Think I'll be good either way.

Spikes gets their barrels from FN, I'd spend the extra 30 for CHF .

Went with the 14.5" Spikes and a Spikes Dynacomp to go with it.

Just got done ordering a Criterion from brownells . Its a"kreiger production line 16" hybrid for my build. 223 wylde chamber 1:8 twist, mid length gas system, chrome bored that's also polished .and accurate too. Price is a little more than rainer or brownells but still worth the 279 bucks I think and with 7 bucks shipping. Less than a high end barrel.
