Is the salad comment an cryptic attempt to criticize a builder because they outsource some of thier components?

Lol no. No cryptic messages of criticism for the outsourcing of parts. A lot of quality companies do so. I'm sure you're well aware of my knack for being blunt and honest.

It was the brass catcher that caused your bolt to break. I have seen it happen before on an AR-10(308).

No...It was not the brass catcher. Had you read the entire thread you'd have seen that the catcher I was using was not attached to the rifle. It was resting on the bench a good 18 inches from the rifle. There is no way a case bounced back into the action.

I would want me on my team too. Proper tools, the ability to use them, and the right mindset.
