*to self - wtf?*
No. they're not permanetly attached. However, I'm a lazy bastach and somewhat OCD about time. If it takes me an extra 30 seconds to dink with something I get pissed. Just can't help it.

Yes it's true, I'm a hyperactive adult. Too many years of contracting and the fact that I wont tolerate even a second of wasted work time by my employees or especially myself. This is fact about myself and it majorly bleeds over into my personal life.

That being said, a laser bore sighter is nothing more than a tool. Do I use one all the time? NO. As a matter of fact I've only used this one 3 times in 2 years. Is the laser bore sighter I own a high qualith one? YES. All my tools are super high quality and high cost because most my life I've made my money with my tools. I have and still do spend massive $$$$ on a tool or tools if I deem they can cut a few moments of time off a work function.

On my bolt guns I use nothing. Just remove the bolt and center barrel on target then center scope reticle on target. Again, it takes less time this way.

LOL...no just had to laugh when I watched someone trying to figure out where to put his collimator with the A2 sight. Turned my back and he grabbed my laser sighter
