Default Blackout Build Teaser Pics - Gun Porn

I received a few more parts over the weekend, so I thought I'd post a few teaser pics of the blackout build. On Friday I received my High Velocity Arms ambidextrous mag release and on Saturday My Reaper hydro coated Magpul UBR stock and Magpul RVG grip. Test fit a few of the upper pieces together so y'all could get an idea of what it will look like. I thing the reaper pattern will look awesome against the Nickel Boron.

Enjoy and let me know what you think......

Yesterday my coated Ergo pistol grip arrived. And boy do I like it. I finally decided on the optic for this build.... An Eotech EXPS-2. I went ahead and ordered a replacement hood and flip up cover set from GG&G, so that I could get those parts sent off and hydro coated. This way if I ever decide to put the optic on another build I can put it back to factory configuration. On Friday I also received shipping confirmation and a tracking number from Lancer for the carbon fiber LCH5 hand guard that I ordered 3 weeks back. And to top it all off for Friday, I got an email from WMD confirming that they did receive my parts and that the expected turnaround time is 4 weeks. Soooo..... As soon as the hand guard and Eotech hood show up, I will be sending them as well as my Troy flip up sights off to Sexyweapon.com to have them hydro coated in the reaper pattern to match the rest of the parts. They are the ones that have coated all of the parts that I have so far as well as the P-mags that are in transit to me. It looks to be early August when I have all parts back in hand to complete this dream build. image-1022710838.jpg image-2852952302.jpg

Well I got some more goodies in today! Two Reaper Pattern hydro coated 30 round P-mags, The Eotech hood with flip up covers and my Lancer LCH5 carbon fiber hand guard. They are outstanding.

image-3431207072.jpgimage-3754160760.jpgimage-1404233674.jpgimage-2482562057.jpgimage-2355260796.jpgimage-2975888977.jpgimage-818127576.jpg

I did a little more test fitting, so I could give y'all a few more teaser pictures.

image-2847517026.jpgimage-2364822361.jpgimage-1975488551.jpgimage-1827453503.jpgimage-324236846.jpg

After the pics, I got it all disassembled and got the hand guard, Eotech hood, and Yankee Hill front and rear flip up sights boxed up and sent off to Sexyweapon.com for the Reaper pattern hydro coating. Should be a little over 2 weeks to get these back. I received confirmation last Wednesday that WMD received my other parts and estimated 4 weeks to get those processed.

So to this point I have received all build parts other than the optic. Lots of parts out for nickel boron coating and hydro coating. I plan on ordering the Eotech EXPS2 by the end of the week. Words cannot express how ready I am to get this thing put together!

Nice build! I am in Lubbock which is in the southern part of the panhandle. I'm out in Las Vegas on vacation right now. By the time I get back, I ought to be getting the rest of the dipped parts back from sexyweapon and the nickel boron coated parts from WMD within a week or so thereafter. Hopefully I'll be putting this thing together by the first if August!
