Surefire makes a good light for just about any budget.

Sure fire I have heard good things about,I have experience with stream light though. I have a scorpion, super bright and just the right size to mount on a longgun. Also have a smaller 2 cell light from them that is about as wide as my thumb and only 4.5 inches long that has a pocket clip on it. That ones reeeeally handy and will stand up to EDC use but it did start malfunctioning after a few weeks of hard use at work with me,just couldn't handle it. But that little thing will put out 180 lumens

I still have my first Surefire M951. It's old and beat up, but works great. Just got the M952 last year and expect the same from it. I keep a 9P on my headboard. Streamlight also makes a quality light. If your not worried about absolute reliability, use anything else. I would try to stick with the CR-123 battery though just for the shelf life.

Leaning toward a surefire millennium universal light. It looks like it can be had for about $100. Not too bad.

Anyone ever try the light made by Primary Arms?
