I DNK, the "best" for me is an SKS with the original 10-shot mag.

Many prefer an AK or something else.

I'd say it's a very personal choice, depending on what your

selection paradigms for " best" are.

How much punch do you want a round to have VS portability?

Are you talking most accurate? Most actual "assault rifles" aren't

extremely accurate, because armies depend on massed fire or volley

fire to compensate for their hardware's deficiencies.

Are you looking for most dependable? Gonna get a few

arguments here.

Do you prefer sturdy, robust, and neglect resistant, and easy to clean?

Comblocs hold a distinct advantage.

Some AR owners here would take my favorite go to gun and

throw it right in the trash...

If your intent is to continue to fuel the liberal media and the anti-gun movement then by all means keep using that term. As for myself and hopefully others we will no longer contribute to this thread. I hope all of you that love and want to protect our 2nd amendment will join me in not posting in this thread anymore. Thank you

No it isn't.

You should do a little research in the future before you go posting about things and telling us not to take it personal. Our freedoms ARE very personal to us, and people using terms like that only hurt us in our cause to protect those freedoms.

This is the last post you will see from me in this thread.

I agree It is a very personal choice and I would say many favorites are what people use and are comfortable with you hit the nail on the head as for me I own an sks good call on that one it's pretty great it wouldn't have been the first to come to mind I am thinking about buying a fs2000 anyone have thoughts on that one??

punctuation.......plzzzz.

FS2000 is bad @ss. Surprising bigger than it looks, kinda bulky. I'm dying to have a couple shots with it on the range.
