I'm just curious to the number of all those that think they need a $1100 dollar or more AR-15, and then go out and buy a cheap hunting rifle, shotgun or handgun????

Well count me in...

Obviously the AR bug hasn't bitten you yet, Anna, but just wait! I've built two $1100 ARs using Daniel Defense and BCM upper receivers and a $750 basic AR using a PSA premium upper. Once a person discovers how handy and useful an AR is they're hooked.

Shotgun, hunting rifle, handgun? ... Yeah I've got those too! But good ones...

At that price you probably got the carbon fiber receivers. For another hundred or so you can get a PSA with milspec 7075 T6 receivers and midlength gas yet still be well under a grand.
