Are you buying it complete, or are you building it yourself? If you are building it yourself and want a good barrel for a good price click here.
Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.

IMHO a bare bones 20" AR is the first one you should own. Once bitten, you can branch out to a carbine, a DMR, an SBR, etc.

It is nice to see that attitude problems are still "self correcting problems".

How the F did I miss this earlier? I just noticed this whole thread. Ummmm, after two 18 hour shifts back to back and a 21 hour one today, I think I need some coffee to re-read this one. Holy crap.

WTF!!! are you smoking? Why not stick to your AR stuff. Of all the searching (Online and in a Library) not once have I ever seen that Sgt. York was taking shots at 600+ yards. I did a very in-depth research paper on him while in the Army.

I am not going to take anyones side in this argument. All I can say is if I had the money every one of my rifles would be wearing $1000+ scopes. Right now mine are in the $500 range and they work for me.
