Default Belt Fed AR Upper

I searched the forum but didn't find anything so I figured I'd throw this up here. Thought this was pretty cool. Stumbled across it browsing the web today. From what I gather from the reading, it's a drop in upper for any AR lower.

Found it at http://www.brpguns.com/categories/Semi-Auto-Firearms/XMG-Belt%252dFed-AR%252d15%7B47%7DM16-Upper-Receiver/

I've noticed they are sold out of the 308 version.

I know right! If I understand the description, if someone were to snag an M16 lower and throw on there it would be one devastating piece of machinery. Add the fact it can sling 308 NATO or 8mm Mauser....jeez.

I second that, it makes the Shrike 5.56 look foolish.

It's amazing how creative people with too much time on their hands and a few beers can get with AR parts.

I'm not sure how practical it is, but that's freakin awesome.
