I heard 2-4 weeks from them , did you buy the bolt with it or get it else where?
I bought mine from a individual that bought it and never put it together so I dont know if it was something he just recently bought or something the guy had been sitting on a while . I didnt touch the feed ramps , they looked good , fed fine and I like them to wear in naturally unless there is a problem . I look at it like this if it feeds fine without issues dont try to screw it up .

Oh sh#t, I just realized something, first I steal your signature ( I did get your permission first, in case somebody want's to flame my a$$ for that ), now I want to steal your stippling idea.....AND you have the hottest most dazzling avatar on the whole damn site....I need one of those bow down smilies here, cuz you are the MAN....LOLOL

Anyway if you would or could share that with the rest of us shlep-rocks, I,...uum, We, would greatly appreciate it. I have a FDE hand guard that is in dire need of that treatment.

Again, very cool rig brother.....Very Cool, BT
Lots of ways to do it you can use a wood burning tool or a soldering iron and start poking away , get a piece of plastic to practice on first if you havent done it before , the longer you leave it on the plastic the deeper it melts and the bigger it makes the grittyness, this particular one is a 1/8" round nosed bit that I melt pretty aggressive with , I use a soldering iron and I make different tips that screw into it . you can go big like this one and make it real aggressive and really tacky or you can go small and make it feel like 400 grit sand paper , the grips I always go small the hand guards I like big especially with the bigger caliber it makes it easier to hang on to. If you get too aggressive and it takes your skin off you can always knock the top off with a piece of emery cloth to take some of the sharpness off , that will give it a rubber feel for some reason

Thanks, I'll shoot it first before I got to town with the dermal. I am still holding out on the bolt, found a few, really hoping the Armalite bolt comes back in stock.

Alright Fun day friday is here . This is as good as I can get it with a 3 moa rds 30 yards on a
1/2" dot. I may put my 1x4-20 on it and see how she does at 100 yards but I only had 40 yards to play with today

Yes carbine gas system, here's a few double taps not great because its pretty violent compared to the 5.56 and no none of those double taps were close together like pictured that's 3 different sets and all matching pairs are spread about as far as you can make them go

I ran 108 rds thru it today flawlessly, no misfires, no jams, nothing but live fire every time I pulled the trigger . I have some where around 150 rds thru it now and no issues except the very first round with the chamber lock up .Also found some 7.62x39 steel ammo today at Walmart for $5.17 a box .
