Thanks for the help. Is the BFH worth the extra, if so that's the way I will go. I favor building one as close as I can get to a military M16, not auto of course. Am I anywhere close to being on track. This is my first build and the AR 15 has just recently really got my attention. So any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks again.

I think the latter (lower) choice is a mid-length gas system. If so get tha one. You'll love middies.

Does anyone know if BCM will have lowers any again anytime soon.

check G&R tactical, they usually have BCM lowers, great prices on BCM uppers, and sometimes really good deals on blemished units.

Thanks they do have them in stock. Looks like i'll be ordering! Can't wait to get started on my build once I receive everything. What are the chances picking one up at a gun show?

Looks like I was wrong. They are out of stock as well. If anyone knows where I can get a BCM lower please let me know.
