You can download the armourers manual for the ar15/m16 for free in pdfformat dont get much more manually than that.
Most gun rag writers know less about firearms than barbara boxer does...

Found the same comments on product issues. BCM fixed them all within a week of getting them Paul himself came onto the forum and stated he'd stopped production until it was fixed, they paid shipping and handling to replace all the faulty equipment, AND did it all within a week on each customer.
If that's bad customer service, gimme sum.

Not changing the subject, but everyone always bashes CMMG. Which have great CS.
BCM has great CS & great products so does CMMG.

My only experience with them was at the local LGS...I handled one of their rifles for a few minutes and I swear, every moving part had a "grainy" feel to it. Are they supposed to be better than that?

I don't really hear a lot of people bashing CMMG, nor praising them. I think they're more of a middle of the pack company. Not in league with BCM, Noveske or Larue, but also not anything like an Olympics Arms. (Just my opinion based on reading. Never owned/shot one nor the company.)

I'd say that's a fair evaluation of CMMG, Ben.

As the owner of several CMMG products, I concur. Not junk, but not BCM or DD by any means. I rate them as a reasonable alternative to DPMS, Bushy, or Stag.
