What are the differences in groupings between say a 16" barrel and a 20" barrel at approximately 100 and 200 yards (on an Ar-15)?
At those distances, I would say the 16" and the 20" would perform the same. I don't think you would notice much untill you pushed out past 300yds or more.
Barrel lenth as no effect on accuracy, is the quality of the barrel. The difference between is shot barrel and the long barrel would be acouple of 100`s fps., or 10 to 15 yrds. on max. point blank range.
